President of the Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono had a bilateral consultation with Her Royal Highnes Princess Maxima of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in a side-line meeting of the G-20 Summit in Los Cabos, Mexico. During the meeting, President Yudhoyono was accompanied by the Coordinating Minister for Economy, the Minister for Cabinet Secretary, and the Minister for Trade. The 30 minutes consultation touched upon financial inclusion and the ongoing micro credit program in Indonesia.
In the meeting, Her Royal Highness Princess Maxima expressed her appreciation to the Government of the Republic of Indonesia for the successful implementaion of financial inclusion and micro credit. Princess Maxima also expressed her commitment to continue assisting Indonesia in micro-financial field, and expecting other countries’ contribution in such field as well. She suggested that Indonesia could strengthen its coordinaton with parties concerned on micro-financial policy and scheme that has currently been introduced by the Coordinating Minister for Economy.
