Ambassador Habibie gives the trophy to the winner
In cooperation with the Stichting Asli, the Embassy successfully held the Pencak Silat Festival on April 4th 2009 in Poeldijk. The festival was attended by hundreds of pendekars from 15 Pencak Silat schools and about 500 spectators from all over the Netherlands. The purpose of the festival was to promote Pencak Silat (Indonesian Traditional Martial Arts) in the Netherlands Performances by the Participants:
