The Jakarta Post : Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan has extended the state of emergency in the capital city to April 19 in an effort to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Environment and Forestry Ministry has temporarily closed 16 national parks and nature tourism parks across the country to minimize the spread of the coronavirus.

The Jakarta Post: Indonesia announced 38 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday afternoon, bringing the total number of recorded cases to 172.

The Jakrata Post: The government has announced 17 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of confirmed infections to 134 as of Monday afternoon.

Stay home, President says

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo is calling on all Indonesians to just stay home as the country of 270 million people braces for the worst pandemic in recent memory.
