On Tuesday October 1st, six Dutch companies and the Open University signed a so called Partners for International Business agreement with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO). The goal is to jointly explore opportunities for business and cooperation in waste and circular economy with Indonesian counterparts in the next two to three years.
The Government of Indonesia, this year awarded around 33 buyers from main trading partners and non traditional markets in recognition of their roles in boosting their country's trade with Indonesia during the Trade Expo Indonesia, the largest B to B Exhibition in Indonesia last October 2017.
On 7 June 2017, the Indonesian-Dutch Youth Dialogue for a Sustainable Future: Exploring bilateral partnership on youth development and engagement towards the Sustainable Development Goals was held, hosted by the Indonesian Embassy in The Hague and collaboratively conducted by TYK research & action consulting, Centre for Sustainable Development Studies (CSDS), University of Amsterdam, Indonesia Nederland Youth Society (INYS), Indonesian Diaspora Network Nederland, and the Dutch Youth Council (NJR).
Several business and investment opportunities in West Sumatera was discussed during a forum held at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in The Hague on 24 May 2017.
